Everything was done online, so when we got to the rental counter, they just brought us outside, we checked over the car and off we went….. so easy. The car was pretty much brand new. Drop off was just as easy. Prices were better than any of the other rental agencies even with a different drop off location. Had the car for three weeks and had no problems. Will definitely rent from them again.
I was told I couldn't pick my car--the office would pick one for me, which hasn't been my car rental experience in the past. They brought out a nice Corolla with all four doors wide open. At the time, I wasn't suspicious about the open doors. Turns out, the car had a long-lingering marijuana smoke smell. I think the Sacramento staff had to know it, but they were happy to get rid of it with me. Even after driving it for over two weeks, I was told by the Enterprise agent in Phoenix where I returned the car that he could still smell it. I contacted Sacramento Enterprise about my bad experience and have received a partial refund. I was not happy about having a smelly car, but I really was not happy that I feel like they knew it was smelly (yeah, have the doors open when we show it to her and hope she doesn't notice) and just tried to get rid of it. I feel like the rental agents did a high five when I drove it off the lot. And now poor Phoenix has to take care of it. The car itself (besides the smell) was great. I think it could have used new windshield wipers.
We appreciate the prompt and friendly service we experienced when we arrived in Sacramento. The Grand Caravan was clean, dependable and perfect for our needs in our travels. I still feel a $1,000 for 5 days use is a bit steep. Not happy about that but we needed transportation. Also appreciated the ease in returning the van as well. Thank you, Robin Miller
I had no issues with this Enterprise location. In fact, they did a great job overall. The car I rented was very clean and returning the vehicle was super easy as well. The big issue I have is with the Rewards program. I rented a Van from May 2020 to August 2020. That was a 4 month rental. Enterprise was able to add 1 month of rental rewards to my account but failed to add the other months. When I returned my van in August, I was told that my rewards points would be added to my account automatically. Two months went by and my points we’re still no reflecting, so I called the Vallejo enterprise to inquire about my points. I was told by their manager (female) that they would look into it and get it added and as they informed me that was an easy request. I was informed it could take a week to reflect. This never happened. Fast forward to two weeks ago, I inquired with the rewards program if my points would ever be added and I was told they are not able to add it as it is now more then 6 months since my rental. This was the wrong answer and I am still trying to speak with management about this. I have been requesting a call back from management and corporate so that this can be addressed. I will not let this issue slide as I am being punished for someone at Enterprise no doing their job. The customer service experience has been bad as I am still waiting after almost a month to speak to upper management about my situation. For all renters, please follow up with your rewards points. They say it is deposited automatically but that was not the case. They also don’t respond to your requests. Good luck reaching management with their loyalty program. They are non responsive.
Once again, Enterprise Rent-A-Car came through for me. Customer service was prompt, polite, attentive, and interested in my vehicle needs. The vehicle I chose and rented proved clean and completely up to the task for which I required it during my eleven day travel and business plan. I will continue renting from Enterprise, do doubt.
