    Re-scheduled a rough date due to covid. Because they would not refund only new booking.Then gave a email with a days notice. Not week ahead any follow up. When I replied they took the deposit. If unsure of travel during covid avoid these toxic people. The biggest bunch of thieving people I have ever dealt with.

    We are here in Iceland and rented an RV from Motorhome Iceland. It is the morning of day three. For the second time the RV won’t start. So, we call them. It is a weekend so no one is answering. They have an arrangement with Europcar. So, we call Europcar. They answer. They dispatch a roadside person close to us. About an hour and a half later, and for the second time, we are in the road again. The battery or the alternator is bad. On Monday we will call Motorhome Iceland and ask them to bring us a new Motorhome so we can switch. We don’t know the outcome yet. This has been stressful. When we get to a site which we would like to see, we are afraid to turn of the Motorhome engine for fear it won’t start. Not impressed with French made Puesot (spelling). Summary - two out of the first three days the vehicle won’t start and we are sitting stranded waiting for roadside service. Not impressed. Update! Motorhome Iceland brought us a new Motorhome in the 6th day. They swapped us out. No problems after that. They gave us a three day credit. So, we only paid for 5 of the 8 days. I will rent from them again the next time I am in Iceland.

    Nice staff, they answer emails as soon as possible. The camper for two was nice, with kitchen facilities (pot, pan, hotplate, water, mini cooler, plates...), bed and bedding. We booked a automatic camper (Renault Kangoo), but when we arrived there weren't available, we had to take the manual one ( Nissan NV200, it's cheaper, pay attention at the different prices).

    The van was new (VW transporter), well equipped and clean. The service they provide is excellent. We booked a van for 2 but ended up with an upgraded 3 seat van. The provider ultimately was Lava auto, good service from them too. I strongly recommend this company! PS: do get the gravel insurance (for both body and windshield). It's very easy to get gravel all over the vehicle
