I was very happy that they had plenty of vegetarian options, even the beans and rice are vegetarian which is usually not the case at Mexican restaurants. We all enjoyed our food, I wouldn't say it's 100% authentic but it's still delicious. The drinks were good as well and strong. Loved the live music on Thursday. Our waitress was very nice and attentive.
Food was cold. Are you serving us directly from the fridge? Beans were tasteless. Rice was completely wrong texture. Seemed like minute rice. Chicken smelled funky and was more long crunchy pieces of onion than meat. Tasteless, skimpy on portions...Just cannot compare to the authentic Mexican food in the East Bay. I'd rather they charge more and increase the quality of the food.
This was our first time here since the change to site. The drinks are great and strong not weak even during happy hour. The food was also great and everything was homemade. The quality also was perfect and we had not left overs which was perfect as well. We will be going back...
Completely average food dressed up as fancy food. Everything tasted like it was from a can with very little seasoning of any sort. I think it’s American food with Mexican ingredients. This would be great if you’re in a remote town in the south, but below average in an area with plenty of good Hispanic food choices.
Hmm...this place wasn't horrible? Honestly, I'm not sure what to say because there isn't much to say! We ordered a variety of dishes, from tacos to mole, and none of them had flavor. The food was edible, and by no means was it disgusting, but it had absolutely no taste. I personally ordered the pork carnitas tacos, and it felt like I was eating nothing. Again, not gross, but definitely not worth the price. Our server was very nice though, and we did enjoy the chips. Not much so say about this place because it honestly didn't do anything for me.
