This place is at a great location in downtown San Mateo. But the food however was just okay. A little saltier, and the price was a little higher than better restaurants within a 10-minute drive, or even walk from here. I had Smoked Salmon Benedict, and it was just average. With a few added "greasy spoon" items that were missing, and some improvement to the current menu, this "diner" could be one of those places that have a line out the door everyday!
A perfect first visit! We got seated immediately and received wonderful service from Roger. The food was fantastic, and I can personally recommend the breakfast burrito. Fabulous waffles and bottomless coffee makes it one of the best diners in town. 5/5
Food was great. It's a diner, which I love. My only complaint was that there were a lot of flies, but that couldn't be helped with doors open due to pandemic
It's okay but nothing special. Basic breakfast and lunch. Food is good. Service is great. I wouldn't go out of my way, but we were in the area and it was convenient. Pancakes were ok but too much like cake for my taste. Salmon Benedict was good. Omelet was good.
The food and service are excellent here. From Minnesota, So good ol American food is a great change after eating so much Asian food in the Bay Area. Love Baywatch’s service/food. Bay watch is awesome, I’m a regular.
