    Dyrhólaey Door Hill offers an amazing 120 meter high view over the black beach to the northeast. The cliffs here are pretty scary. The waves have drilled a gate in the black lava rock which is big enough for small boats to drive through.

    This is place was a wonder. Incredible viewpoint of the famous black sand beaches of Vik. They are the silkiest deepest black you will ever see. The rock formations and the turbulent sea make for a majestic view. Many angles and paths to chose from. The true treasure of our visit was the small wild puffin colony putting on quite a display for the excited tourists.

    Nice viewing point. A cute little lighthouse. The road there is a bit steep but you can make it. When we were there it was very windy. But the view was stunning!

    Was here August 27, 2021. Very windy and gloomy but that didn't take away from the beauty of it. Nice, easy hiking paths. I one did the lower ones, not the one up to the lighthouse, but the views were still great. Bathrooms on site but have to pay with card.
