    Our group of 5 travelers thought it was absolutely great. The beds are big and comfortable. There's a super view of the surrounding countryside and sea. The ambiance is both warm and really cool, modern and inviting. Loved the shower rooms! Staff very friendly and helpful, positive and fun.

    This is probably the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The way it is built helps with sound proofing. Everything is so clean. The showers are one of the best I have experienced in Iceland. They provide plenty of bathroom space for everyone staying at the facility. The beds are extremely comfortable. We stopped at the bar for happy hour and enjoyed some delicious bar food. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here in the future.

    Stayed here at the beginning of our trip in Iceland. Check in is rather late, but it seems many people came there after dinner. If you have enough luggage space in your car that might not be a problem. The rooms are clean and beds are made. You get new towels every day, so that's nice. But in my book that's basically the minimum. The showers weren't dirty, but since there was no stop for the water it was easy for the water to go everywhere. There is also no space for your stuff. You can't put your shampoo anywhere. There are hooks for your clothes, but I'm not a fan of that. There is a soap dispenser in the shower, but it doesn't say what is inside it so I didn't try it. Same goes for the area with the sinks and mirrors. It's so small that you don't have any space to put your make-up, toothbrush, hairbrush, etc. The kitchen has a lot of utilities, but after cleaning they are often just put aside and I haven't seen anyone putting them back. So overall I just expected a little more comfort for the price. It wasn't bad, but wasn't great either.

    nice and inviting lobby. well equipped and large common kitchen. clean and new bathrooms. fast wifi connection. couldn't ask for more. all that for a reasonable price.
