    Nice to be able to enjoy this beach without any other tourists. There was one horse tour that went past, and a total of about 10 other people the entire time I was in the beach. Puffins live on the crag to the right of the beach and are some of the most enjoyable birds to watch that I've ever seen. Humor in flight. Their little wings flapping, bodies shaking, legs splayed out... Incredible that they can fly at all. Parking is very close to the beach and while you can't swim, having a picnic on the beach would be awesome - and easy. This beach is so quiet (less people) compared to the other one (where the big columns are). A great find.

    Absolutely loved this place. We spent time here twice on both sides of the beach. The area near the cafe is busy with tourists. The area just a bit farther east near the town of Vik wasn't crowded at all. We preferred that side. The sand is beautiful and fairly soft. The hills are stunning.

    Very nice and quiet. Freezing water though. Limited options of restaurants.
