The staff was lovely and the room was comfortable. They made the best mushroom soup I've ever tasted! Basic, clean and we'll located. I didn't realize it was shared bathrooms so very much a guesthouse.
Amazing guesthouse surrounded by unreal landscapes. Huge living room / kitchen and all the amenities you could wish for (washing machine, dishwasher, cooking tools, etc). Clean and new. Perfect for a trip with friends or a family. The owners were also very nice and the food was delicious. We appreciated that they serve local beer and gin. All in all I think you really get what you are paying for there. Highly recommended!
For a guesthouse, this will be one of the best. The view for one is fantastic. The mini spa offers an indoor hot tub and sauna, two outdoor hot tubs, a cold tub and a barrel sauna. All with amazing views. The room is comfortable, even for the shared bathroom options, there are enough toilets that there wasn't much waiting. The restaurant is amazing. The food was great! Best shepherd's pie I have ever eaten. Nice people. They even make their own moonshine and Gin. Very good prices on everything.
Total hidden gem, The Blabjorg guesthouse was off ring road a bit but it is totally worth it. The staff are efficient and responds to emails and requests very quickly. Our room faced the water and was spacious, clean with a full kitchen. The restaurant and facilities including spa was great. It is recommended to make a reservation for use. We did without issue. Would totally stay there again. It is right near the puffin viewing and we were lucky to see a couple puffins.
This place was amazing. It was super remote and we got there too late to enjoy the spa, but we got the 2 bedroom apartment on Expedia for super cheap. The room was wonderful and had free breakfast. Only downside was the balcony door didn't lock, but it's so remote that wasn't a big deal.
