This is one of the wisest investments I have made to improve our quality of life. There is no comparison to a "traditional" goose down duvet. How can it be so light and yet warm and cozy. Recent email sent to Icelandic Down praising product: I meant to write to you sooner to let you know how impressed I am with the recent purchase of one of your down comforters! From the packaging, to the presentation of the invoice, to the monogrammed logo on the upscale carrying case all the way to its performance is perfect. You all managed to “out-luxury” the luxury Italian brands for linens (Sferra and Matouk) and only wish their linens were as fine as the duvet on this comforter. The piping on the edges, the inner baffles and the overall material is just so fine and impressive. It is also larger with more down than expected. Just carrying it from one room to the next I could feel my arm heating up as if it was under a furnace. On top of all of this quality, knowing that no animals were harmed in the process is the icing on the cake. Having an Eiderdown comforter is definitely one thing I can now check off of my “bucket-list” and not something I ever thought I would be able to own. Your comforters are much more reasonably priced than others and certainly appreciate the constant communication which is important when ordering online at this price-point.
