Banteay Pir Chaon was apparently finished around 937AD. The central tower was built out of laterite and was surrounded by eight brick towers – today, most of them are ruins. A picturesque lintel with clear carvings is still visible. Banteay Pir Chaon is the only monument in Cambodia that was dedicated to Brahma only. Current restoration is being undertaken here so you cannot go too close to the central sections.

It's getting to the point where many people would think it's becoming n looking the same temple, but the name of this temple suggests otherwise, a double layer fence, which it sounds very strong n quite defensive for any possible war. Sadly, however, its name did not make it to live up to its current status quo, as like many other temples it's mostly destroyed due to whatever reasons that related to Cambodian past, which one cannot argue of is internal conflict. The script written on the pillar of main gate to the center of the temple should be the focus of this temple.
