This is a beautiful testament to the engineering capabilities of the previous civilizations that inhabited this area centuries ago. At this stage it is a semi-standing pile of rocks with some chiseled sections of facades lying about. This site forms part of the huge collection of 21 temples in this complex that is a must visit. Come see it – it is in my opinion, this temple forms part of the best collection of ancient relics in Cambodia.

So many unfinished statues here on the ground.. if not be careful, you might step on fish, sun bear or any animal statue which were on the ground around the temple. So interesting but there should be more signs to tell the story why was this temple abandoned when it seems the temple was not finished yet.

It's very sad that this temple has been uprooted n basically only the foundation n scattered ancient stones all over the place are visible to witness. Sadly again, people would just pass n skip this temple. On the right hand side, there's a pond/lake (Boeung Khnar), so please check it out if you are interested.
