    Like so many other temples, Chrap temple had two rows of wall enclosing three tall towers in the centre of the grounds. Various sections of these walls have toppled over in the past. Laterite was used to build these walls as it has a red colour due to its iron oxide content and a very coarse texture . Almost all temples were built using this rock. Huge blocks of laterite can be seen everywhere.

    It's so heartbroken to see how brainless people committed such stupid crime to steal whatever they find to sell perhaps for a very small amount. With this story that the locals told me as well as I can imagine, I feel helplessly saddened n wish there's a magic I could bring back the originality to existence so everyone can witness the real beauty this temple can offer. Despite half of the front part of the three-tower temple is gone, this should be one of must visited temples in this complex.
