A beautiful spot and an amazing sculpture. It's a funky location, however, to get to. I believe her twin, across the way, gets a LOT more attention. These sculptures have an interesting history. The artist is Russian and the two sculptures were a gift to the city of Ventura. If you visit her twin across the Channel entrance (next to the Marina Park), you can read the history of this grand gesture. My walk from one sculpture to the other, was 4.5 miles. Round trip 9 miles. A long trek for most, but on a pleasant afternoon, a beautiful journey (if you know the way, as I do).
