Beautiful! But I was too scared to walk down the steep hill to the beach. I only wish there was an easier way down.
Not for the faint of heart. Trail 1, down from the bluff was very steep. Many of our Scout parents opted to stay at the top at the overlook. I made the hike down, but it hurt both my knees. The beach was beautiful and everyone had a great time. We had surfers and boogie boarders with us, and they enjoyed the amazing waves. The hike up was tough, we were huffing and puffing when we made the top. Luckily we had enough people with us, to help carry the load. I don’t think I could go down there again. The picture does not come close to showing how steep that trail is.
Beautiful beach. There is a steep trail to get down to the beach. So it might be difficult to carry a lot of things down. We carried 2 camping chairs in bags with straps, and a lunch bag. We were fine. The beach was pretty quiet when we were there (on a Monday) which made the walk down worth it.
Only bad part was that it was closed for camping.
Great place to go with your family, get some surf and explore the beach with your kids.
