I’ve visited AMA tires today and met David. He was really helpful when balancing my tires. Had a great attitude and very helpful with all the question I had about my vehicle... I recommend this place... there printing are reasonable as well!
Quick and honest service!
AMA is a place that is willing to work with you if you want a tire size different than your OEMs. I bought some slightly oversized tires for my BMW X1; bought oversized for personal preference (I just like more tire on road and wanted to fill in the wheel well more). The original OEMs were 225/45/18 and I purchased, through tire rack, 245/45/18. This was a minor upgrade I knew should fit as the new tires were only 20 mm (3/4") wider (mounting on 8" wide wheel) and only 0.7" taller (diameter wise) than the OEMs. The franchise tire shops would not install or even discuss why they couldn't install (i.e. Firestones, Millbrae Tire, even the 76 gasoline station on Millbrae Ave) and they left me frustrated. The boys at AMA were willing to at least check one tire and if it didn't rub, they would install the rest. Well, they fit perfectly, as I expected, and all got installed. This is not a fancy shop but they are honest, open to working with your modifications or personal preference, and have the better prices than the other places I listed. Next time I have any tire needs, I will not waste time with other places, I will just visit this shop.
This is by far the best quality mechanic hands down all around on all levels! bring your car here !!!!
I went to AMA tires the first time and they took care of me. Ever since I've been going there. I went in with a flat tire and I was in & out in less than 10 mins. Another time my tire sensor light was on for months and no one was able to fix it. AMA tires got rid of the problem in no time and didn't charge me a cent! They don't only do tires. They also do mechanic work. Eri and David have done work on my car. These guys r legit. They're knowledgeable. They explain everything with detail. They're very professional. The job gets done in a reasonable time even when they're busy! I have no complains! Job well done!
