It's Petco, typical big box pet store. I typically come for fish supplies, and occasionally a dog toy. Though my experiences with the employees have been varied, my most recent experience was pretty good. The guy working at the fish area was helpful and very nice. I appreciate when there's someone who wants to help people to build a successful aquarium. Too many fish end up in terrible conditions simply because the owners don't know better. I didn't really directly interact directly with anyone else, the other employees seemed friendly and welcoming.
I took my dog there for his first nail trim & bath on 5/24/21. BIG MISTAKE! They cut all of his nails WAY TOO SHORT & made him bleed. The ends of his nails are jagged and rough. Some are uneven. And to add insult to injury, the groomer charged me an extra $10 for "nail buffing". I called & reported the incident through their customer service line. The representative took a formal complaint & someone in management was supposed to contact me the following day. No one called. I am disappointed.
Petco is the only pet store in the area. And, fortunately, I like it there. Well stocked with Just Food For Dogs. Perhaps the store is a little short staffed? The same person checking me out, answering the phone and helping find product on the floor. That part could have gone smoother but he was very pleasant with all concerned.....and helpful.
Everyone is nice and helpful. They make sure I'm taken care of and always greet me. I love the dog and cat food options. They are so good for my dog and cat, as well as keep them healthy.
Always an easy check out, friendly, and makes you feel welcome! shout out to the two sweet cashiers that have a great costumer service and a great feed back about the product I buy!
