Pie for the People! Pizza di Circo

My pizza was too burned to eat. I didn't know it until I returned home with it. It was past closing so I couldn't get another one made, plus I live 45 minutes from the store. Additionally, I was told it would take 45 min to make the 2 pizzas and it took nearly 2 hours. I reached out to management through their website and have not heard back. UPDATE: I'm very grateful for the kind and prompt response from the owner. I plan to contact him today and head up there tonight. Once I get my new pizzas, I will change my review. UPDATE 8-10-21: Round 2 was excellent. 2 beautiful custom gluten free, vegan pizzas cooked great! Excellent customer service from employees and owner. Owner personally called to check in with us about a week after our replacement pizzas. Looking forward to returning.

New location (all the photos before September/October 2020 were all for the previous location in Joshua Tree. New location just opened in Nov/Dec. Good New York style pizza - although I wasn’t fond of the cauliflower crust. Their normal one is delicious. Friendly staff.... Currently hit or miss on dialing in (sometimes up to an hour and a half wait if you wait later and dial in) but dropped by the location and ordered while waiting in line. Had piping hot fresh pizza after about a 30 minute wait - on a Saturday night. They’re working on getting the online up and going (edit: online ordering is up and running - although I didn’t trust it at first, seemed to work well with predicted timing) Pizzas were fresh and delicious crispy crust! Toppings were good. Definitely worth a return visit when planned out correctly. They do get very busy and can be more of a let down when you go to order and it’s hours for your food.

The life by garlic pizza is now my new favorite! Garlic knots with the garlic olive oil drizzle(pretty sure that's what it was called) were absolutely amazing! I'm waiting to go back and try their wings next. They only have orders of a dozen or 2 dozen...I wasn't THAT hungry while there so it's on the wait list. 😊🧄🍕

The pizza was really good but I have no tattoos, no piercings, my natural brown hair is uncolored and cut cleanly, I have a tall, strong frame and speak with an assured voice in short, yet concise terms. But I get stared at, and I get these glares... it's hard to describe. It's a mixture of "What are YOU doing here?" and "Oh my goodness he probably works outdoors". I'm sure you can catch my drift...

I love new york pizza, but they changed their red sauce recipe. Way to spicy and hot, Italian marinara sauce is not spicy. Just a little oregano is fine. Pizza is hotter than the peperoni. I wish I had that $22.00 back.
