I bought an almost new car and I have to say, the communication and understanding from Peninsula Motor Group was superb. Buying from a different state in the middle of COVID is difficult enough but buying a car I've never even sat in? These guys went above and beyond to make me feel confident with my purchase and I would 110% recommend this awesome group of people with buying a car. They organized all the paperwork and ran me through every step with buying my car. They even provided transport from the airport to the car yard, above and beyond is what they do and they do a fantastic job at it.

Obviously I'm not the only person to have a very bad experience with this company. I went to purchase a new car in April of this year and after looking at the base model was told it did not have the things I wanted but was reassured that the top of the line model did, but they didn't have the keys to show me inside. when I went to pick up my new car, I had to wait as I was told it was being washed again. When I finally got the keys the original sales rep actually sat in the car with me and tried to prove to me that the car had the features I wanted but he couldn't get them to work and explained that I had to be driving to get them to work. Guess what, it doesn't have the features I was told it did have and it had scratches on the car they were obviously trying to wash off. After numerous phone calls and emails and contacting Fair Trading and the ACCC the only response to me was to pay the additional $5k+ to get what I was originally promised the car had. My recent email to them of over 2 weeks ago still has gone unanswered. Reese the salesman and Monique the sales manager are very dishonest. As a side bar, I took out finance through them and when contacted three weeks later for a customer survey by the finance company, with all the questions I was asked about if I was given specific advice, my answers to all were no. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY OR THEIR SALES PEOPLE EITHER FOR THE PURCHASE OF YOUR CAR OR FOR FINANCE.

If I could give no star - I would. So very disappointed with this car dealership. The only reason I gave 1 star is that they ended up giving half of the amount that the car they sold me needed to come up to the way it should have been before it was sold !!! My mechanic (Dave from West Gosford's Express Lube) has made up the invoice conservatively, yet Peninsula Motor Group denied it. The owner and sale person were dragging their feet to meet the request as they were not counting on a woman scorned who would hassle them until they would come to the party. To think that I was still out of pocket of more than $430 - was quite heartless, especially when the sales person was asked to his face if the car that he was selling would not be a lemon and he empathically said no of course not. Well, never again shall I pay cash for a second hand car from them !!! BE AWARE PEOPLE please go somewhere else and get your car checked, even when car sales people have said that you dont need it. They shall reap what they have sown because they do have a mother, sister & wife whom they really dont want her wronged by others.

I have known Joe Vartuli for 10 yrs now since I bought my first car from Peninsula. Joe is the best of all the sales I have ever met. Very helpful, full of empathy and always happy to help in whatever situation. I would recommend Joe to anybody who want to buy a car... His recommendations always awesome!! Thank you Joe
