After looking and test driving different makes of mid size new SUV's. Decided to go for the Havel H6 Ultra 4x4. Owned it now for 6 weeks. Really pleased with the vehicle, it's got all the features you could possible want. Solid car and under $40,000. Recommend taking a look at these cars if you're looking to buy a new mid size SUV. I picked up my New Haval H6 Ultra 4WD from Sutton’s City a week ago. The service was great. It was very difficult times with COVID-19 so the test drives were all covid safe with zero human interaction. The cars were sterilised before & after and all communication was by mobile phone. The H6 is phenomenal. Way better than I expected. I watched every YouTube review & read every review I could find prior to test drive so I could check out all the features. The YouTube videos were all spot on. For the price it can’t be beat. The list of features is immense & all are better than I expected. I test drove both the 4WD & the 2WD. The powerful 2L turbo is beat in class & is phenomenal. Matched with the 7 speed dual clutch auto the drive is amazing. Due to the power and softer style suspension I found the 2WD lurched forward when accelerating so I went with the 4WD which balances the large amount of power generated by the engine/ gearbox combo. Personally I think it looks best in class, certainly has the best features in the class. Best engine / gearbox in the class. Best interior in the class. Plus 7 years warranty & 5 years roadside assist. It defies belief. I reckon anyone who drives it will prefer it to the new Hyundai Tucson or the Kia Sportage (despite not yet in oz). Drive it. It will blow your mind. It is that good. No gripes only a comments. The Apple CarPlay is not wireless. To plug it in you have to be in the passenger seat. The seats are faux leather & have an excessive “new car smell” in the cabin. No lighting on the floor of the cabin. Can’t see your feet at night. I had to order floor mats from NZ that had to be made to order. Normal driving mode is good but sports mode displays the real powerhouse of the engine / gearbox combo. Pluses: Camera system better than top end European cars. Stunning interior - no clutter Electric tailgate Huge panoramic sunroof Powerful engine & gearbox to match Driving position Automated wipers/lights/cameras on indicating Heads up display very very good & linked to Apple CarPlay Heated & ventilated seats Super roomy in the front & rear Loads of boot space Handling (in sports mode) is awesome & you can fly around corners despite the cars great size The infotainment system is awesome 7 year warranty 5 years roadside assist 12.5 inch infotainment touchscreen controls everything 10.5 inch instrument control panel USB ports everywhere One touch windows & sunroof to open & close all Fixed price services for 5 years Honestly it looks bloody amazing. Everyone turns their head when I drive past. Im not a fan of the 2022 Tucson or 2022 Sportage. So happy. I’ll let you know any complaints if there are any later on. Not a complaint but the suspension is soft… I prefer firmer suspension myself but it is still really really really good … so not really a complaint For value for money it hands down beats anything on the market and in most ways has a real premium feel. This review has 2 parts. Part 1: I bought my car from Mark a Haval Jolion. He was helpful got the car I wanted in the colour I wanted in under a week. I was able to test drive a santized car and felt covid safe the whole time. Part 2: I felt Suttons lacks the technical edge that I would of expected for such a large enterprise. There should of been video conferncing options for sales, The contracts should of been digital ie: adobe sign or docusign. Maybe a digital review of the car and online order form? That is what dropped it from 5 to 4 stars. But in gerenal considreing Covid-19 and the impact its had on Sydney this was a great experiance in a time when there is a shortage of cars I got premium service.
