Budget Car Rental

I rent from Budget frequently. I specifically rent from the Studio City,CA location which shares employees with the Highland Ave. location in Hollywood. Tony, Alex and Wendy are always polite, professional and go out of their way to make my rental experience easy and enjoyable. The rates are competitive and have I like the option to prepay for locked in discounts. I have also had to talk with national customer service. Whenever there has been any issue with billing they have handled my concerns swiftly and with the intent to make me happy. Budget will get high marks from me to any friend or colleague.

This company charged me 2546 and some change on a rental that I had for only 3 days. Their explanation was that since I dropped off the vehicle at a different location other then where I rented from was the reasoning. Had I knew I was going to be charged an extra 2300 I wouldn't have done this. I found out through my bank three days after returning the vehicle because I normally don't make large purchases. This is bad business. All rental agreements need to be explained very clearly so that will not happen to someone else.

Our experience with budget at this location was so terrible that I wanted to warn other customers. The staff member that we spoke with was incredibly disrespectful and rude. They didn’t accept any of our debit or credit cards. They blamed us, they slammed doors, they spoke down to us and other customers, they showed a general disrespect. Even though we had prepaid, we wasted our time and almost $600 trying to get the rental while they treated us with contempt. By the time we left, the waiting room was filled with other angry and upset customers. If I could rate them 0 stars, I would. We walked down the road to a different car rental place who treated us with respect and we had a car within 5 minutes.

Horrible place. They gave a car that smelled like PEE. When pointed out, no apology, no attempt to get an another car, nothing. They probably violated a health code by providing a peed in car.

First when I spoke with your customer service they told me $ 200 deposit and when I got there they ask for $ 250. Then My sister pass away and I need the car for one more day and when I spoke twice with customer service they said it would be $ 139 for one day more. That is f.n crazy at this time now that convit is here very very very disappointed and will never rent from your company again and will post and tell my people to not rent from you also. Not happy with this at all and everyone at the branch blames Corporate. Bad business. BBB. I am a customer that has been renting cars over 35 yr. Thank u. Ms LeRoy
