Ruined mine and my boyfriends “romantic” getaway. Got the room with the jacuzzi tub. We got the FIRST hotel by the lobby so all we heard was people arguing with the front staff. The people on the other side had kids that wouldn’t stop knocking on the wall to the bedroom and screaming. The phone was either haunted 😂 or something because it turned on and was making this weird noise and we had to UNPLUG it. We overpaid SO MUCH MONEY for this dumb room and we ended up not being able to sleep and leaving early. ☹️☹️☹️
I was not given a refund for the $199 reservation cost for a 1 night stay, I had booked online and never received! The Director of the hotel Mike stated "It was my own fault for booking a reservation I was not going to need!" He did not communicate with me personally, he was completely unprofessional by not even taking the time to attempt to resolve my issue. He clearly does not have Integrity or value his role in Customer Service! I really needed to book a room for my family trip to CA from Las Vegas. After placing my reservation online I wanted to extend my stay for 1 extra night. The price difference for a weekday stay VS a weekend stay was too expensive. Which is why I needed to cancel my online reservation I booked through Hotels.com. Within the same 1/2 hour of making a reservation I did my due diligence to communicate with the hotel staff immediately, and the Choice Plus Customer Service in hopes of a refund. I was told by Choice Plus Customer Service that this location was a franchise and it is completely at the hotel General Manager's (AJ) discretion to allow refunds.
Clean hotel, efficient check in and out, clean rooms. Bed was not made everyday and we missed the coffee packet one day. Due to COVID, breakfast is bag with a sausage egg & cheese muffin, a blueberry muffin, and piece of fruit. Coffee/tea and O.J. in hotel.
Terrible hotel. Staff was rude to begin with and spoke poor English which made communicating about actual needs very difficult. My boyfriends card was stolen a couple days before check in but he had a new card by the time we checked in and they refused to take it. Said if we didn't have the exact card made to book the reservation, they wouldn't take us. They almost turned us away in the middle of the night had I not had an ID that matched a card of my own which was far from accommodating. We get to the room and it's not as clean and nice as the pics would have you believe. The toilet paper dispenser is hanging out of the wall, mold on the handrail in shower, poorly working AC. Complimentary breakfast rolls around..... brown paper sack that has a granola bar, fruit, and frozen sandwich for you to heat up on your own.... quite the let down and would've been nice to disclose up front.. Fitness center was closed- would've been nice to disclose up front. Pool was dirty and green-would've been nice to disclose up front. They don't change your sheets until night 2 and you have to request it... would make sense for covid reasons right? Wrong because the staff already goes in during the day to change out all towels and clean everywhere but the bed. Not enough towels were given to us the next day to replenish what we'd used, the sink pressure was weak, cold water in sink was actually warm, shower nozzles didn't work to turn to cold all the way and when we were finally able to force the handle, water was warm like the sink. Wifi was changed halfway through our stay and when I called down, the man at the front desk said "oh yeah we do that, not sure why they didn't tell you the new one." That lack of care and attention to detail in this place was abysmal to say the least. Never again.
Smelly inside but clean. Staff is helpful. A lot of homeless nearby. They may charge an early checkout fee of $20 a night.
