Im here frequently and although it does get busy quick, the staff is amazing and makes getting in and out a breeze!
No point of making an appointment had my appt at 9:10am and still sitting here at 9:36 seems they only take people when they feel like it they have called people after me for the same dr so disappointed with kaiser has been going down hill lately it gets annoying because we pay for it

I am still in disbelief at the lack of concern and professionalism my family has received from this specific location, as well as kaiser in general. We went in to the Manteca facility’s emergency room because my daughter was in pain. We ended up seeing a pediatrician that was helping out at that location, but was actually an employee at this Modesto location. She was very nice, I will give her that, however in the total 6 appointments we traveled over an hour each way for, she could not figure out my daughters very apparent issue that runs in our family and I specifically addressed it each and every visit. We were charged for every single visit, which I didn’t mind at the time, however walking out of there after that many visits with no answers and my daughter still in pain with no true attempt to relieve the pain and discomfort, I felt the price we paid was absurd!! Had the issue, or even the pain been handled, the price would not have mattered. After all the visits our total was just under $500, which bothered us because our daughter is still in the same exact predicament as she was prior to wasting that amount to get no answers, help or relief. However, I wasn’t nearly as bothered by that amount of money until they sent us a bill in the mail for another $655. At this point, I am told I need to call to dispute this amount. So I do so, I’m transferred 3 or 4 times because they want to say I needed to complain in person at member services. Finally I speak to a gentleman that says I need to submit the complaint online. After what feels like a run around, I submit my complaint online where it then says I will be contacted within 3 business days (I believe it was). I still to this day have yet to be contacted by kaiser. A week or so passes and I receive a letter stating we still owe all of the amount and that none of it would be waived or reimbursed because I “agreed to the amount” which is absolutely false, I agreed to the amounts we paid in person yes, but I was never told or made aware an additional amount would be billed to us. Fast forward to two months later my poor daughter is still suffering, and now she has to be seen by medi-cal practitioners and I never thought I would see the day that they handle things more efficiently than kaiser. She had ONE visit with a medi-cal dr and they not only attempted to relieve her pain, but they also are referring her to specialist which Kaiser should have done! It is absurd to pay for coverage that doesn’t handle your health needs ESPECIALLY when it comes to children and a child in pain and discomfort. I have never been so extremely disappointed in a medical facility, the medi-cal drs as well as the doctors hospital emergency room staff were shocked that kaiser could not figure out this issue that physically can be seen on my daughter. You can literally physically see where the pain is coming from, yet in 6 visits they couldn’t figure it out and still want to charge us over $1000 to give us no answers and no relief. This is sad for my daughter, and if this negatively affects her from not having the issue handled when the matter was originally addressed I will gladly pursue this complaint legally.
Some doctor or office assistant don’t care about patients because the law comes first. It’s so disappointing and sad. First time I face this kind of bureaucratic issue at Kaiser Modesto Psychiatry Deparment.
