Came in while Kat was tattooing and the vibe of the shop was definitely tense- I'm not sure if that's a reflection of the shop or not but it was uncomfortable to be there. Asked for a quote for a future project and the prices seemed comparable for the area but the work of the artists I saw wasn't up to the standards I was expecting coming into High Voltage. This felt more like an upscale street shop and not a studio producing high-quality work. The shop attached had some fun souvenirs and I bought a few shirts but nothing terribly exciting.
Love this place. I've been coming here for a few years now to see my boy Mikey. He's the best and I love his artwork.
