On 8/23 two people arrived for lunch for 11:30 am lunch reservations. The host greeted us and then remarked we were 4 minutes early and stated he could not seat us. Really??? We walked outside and returned 4 minutes later and the same host seated us in a empty dinning room. IMO if this is the way they greet returning guests, their policies needs updating.
Beautiful luxury hotel with great amenities & a wonderful view. The staff are super friendly. I would highly recommend staying here!
I always enjoy coming to Rosewood Sandhill as it is such a relaxing, high-quality, and professional environment. The poolside experience is unlike any other with attentive service (thank you Patrick), delicious food (check out their new menu!) and an incredible salt-water pool. The staff are lovely and will be sure to make sure you are taken care of.
With the pandemic putting our annual trip to Mexico (or anywhere) on indefinite hold, we picked up a Resort Pass day at the Rosewood's pool over Memorial Day weekend for a day a in the sun. Parking was demurely marked, but plentiful and on-site signage made the pool a breeze to find. When we arrived, we had to wait at the main pool entrance for a moment, but were soon admitted and escorted to our seats. Thereafter, service was helpful and attentive and the food and drinks were solid. The kids wolfed down grilled cheese and chicken tenders and my friend chicken sandwich was tender and juicy, though maybe a little light on seasoning. The chicken wings were a larger serving than expected and well prepared. Just before the kitchen closed for the day (at 5P), the staff made their rounds to ensure any and all final requests made it in ahead of closing. The pool itself was clean and uncrowded, even on a holiday weekend. While it was a bit pricy, the day at the Rosewood Pool was a much needed substitute for the tropical vacations we had been dearly missing.
Tandem coffee bar has nice out door seating area that captures the early morning sun. Best coffee in the area. Service is impeccable and it’s off the beaten track so not too busy. Have never waited for service, even on Saturday mornings. Added bonus of fresh pastries , the French would be proud of. Beware the slightly warmed chocolate banana bread which is extremely moreish. Would highly recommend for great coffee and snacks in a relaxed discreet outdoor area. Don’t tell too many people.
