The Stanford Guesthouse is a comfortable place to stay. The rooms are well equipped with what one needs. The bed is not too soft. The water in the bathroom is easy to regulate, and one does not need to open it fully, as in many hotels, which saves a lot of water. Complimentary coffee is offered in the basement where American breakfast is also served (between 6:30 and 9:30). There is no coffee machine in the room. Europeans would certainly expect more from a breakfast, but for American standards, it is acceptable. Unfortunately, the guesthouse is far away from the centre of the campus. There is a free shuttle on working days, but nothing on weekends or public holidays.
I was very impressed with the services and staff. They were very helpful amd knowledgeable. The car pooling to the various spots around campus was so helpful. The price of a night was great and they were very accommodating when I added a second night. The single room was small but that's expected and didn't disappoint. Would stay there again.
Very close to everything you may need during your stay as well as peace and quiet at the end of the road it's very nice
Very nice people and very polite
Very clean and well maintained. The queen bed rooms are small but comfortable. The continental breakfast has basic cereals, oatmeal, pastries, fruit, juice, and coffee. The wireless has good coverage and is fast. The hotel is a bit isolated from restaurants and the main Stanford campus so transportation can be an issue if you don't have a car. The hotel does offer a basic shuttle service for local travel and it is on a bus line.
