One of my favorite bookstores in Sydney. Love the vibe in Newtown. We already bought over 10 books over last few months. The prices are reasonable and they do have many classic books. Just got my Eat Pray Love home. Always come back every 1 month.

Been a loyal regular customer for years, an have spent huge$$$on limited specific topic secondhand books.Have noticed when not bought any books am Ignored😬Once friendly service is missing!After years of being a loyal customer expected better!Really over places that are only nice to you when you shell out big bucks! Me an my mates wont be back.Customer service is a skill that is rusty with some, an thats amazing in a competitive retail market😯😐 I have been back to the bookshop, an spent over$1000 on books. When I go in an do not buy any books,I am ignored,not spoken to, an treated coldly!!Talks cheap!Actions speak loudly!Find it amazing when retail owners treat 'high value' customers poorly,yet 'super friendly' when we 'open' our wallets!!😬 Me& my mates will go where the customer service is genuine,even if a customer is only browsing,an not purchasing on a particular visit!Had a couple of friends who were treated with 'low level customer service' recently(last couple months)so your reply demonstrates the TRUTH of what I have said!!Glad a good many(Owners/Managers) of my reviews appreciate 'honest comments an learn from them', but,there are some, who either 'dont get it OR JUST DONT WANT TO!😬

One of the best treats in the Street (King)! Lots of good second hand books to choose from and some of the friendliest staff you could meet!

Very expensive for second hand books. Not well set out as we were looking for regency romance books and gave up in the end going to another book store because it wasn't well set out. Good location on King St, close to the train if coming from other suburbs.

I was informed by your staff that the exchange & return policy on your website, does not apply to your business in-store. Also got told that there is no exchange or return policy in store. This is unlawful under ACL. Two days ago, I purchased a book only to realise i already had the same one, return to the store within 1 hours since the time of purchase on the same day. i'm okay with been declined on request to return, but i really dont understand the decline on my request to exchange to another book of same or lower value or a credit that i can buy another book on the spot. I quoted your return and exchange policy online to your staff, only to be told your policy is not practised. and i could just donate it back to your shop if i have the same one. Please explain why your own policy is not valid?
