We picked Pink Beauty (white chocolate mud with raspberry) for our engagement party cake. We went in store for advice on size for our guests. The personalised service, advice and examples of cakes shown was extremely helpful and reassuring when organising an event. On the night the cake looked magnificent- a show stopper AND it tasted sooo amazing!!! Everyone commented on our cake 🎂 thank you all at Bec Bakes xx

Save the disappointment on your wedding day and DON’T buy your wedding cake here. I was so upset and stressed on my day! I planned in advance with Becs bakes “the exact time of when the cake needed to be delivered and was told no worries it will definitely be there at the time I requested as I told her it was the time the reception would open before guests arrive” I went to a lot of trouble painting a hall table so that the cake would sit on it as the centre piece and for everyone to see as guests arrived. I received phone calls on the day from family letting me know the cake had still not arrived moments before I was to leave for the wedding, I could not get a hold of Bec or any employees and there is not contact number available only email and apparently only checks it on Monday’s/ Tuesdays through the week. Thinking it wasn’t going to turn up, it was there when I arrived however I found out that they brought the cake in whilst all my guests were there waiting and moments before I walked down the isle!! I was embarrassed to imagine them bringing in a cake passing through my guests moments before I walked down the isle, I’m not at all happy with the service and I do hope this never happens to anyone else because it was really simple to just deliver at the time requested. On top of this I was mucked around for weeks to even receive a simple price quote which I felt was a tatick. I then went to the shop as well and Bec could not even speak to me in person even though she was listening to the whole conversation in the kitchen with one of her employees. I thought it was very unprofessional and I can’t understand why it was so unorganised. If you have an unhappy customer you should just apologise and explain the situation, and perhaps offer a better refund. I received a $30 refund for the muck around and was told she thought I ment something else when I said the exact time??? Ummm not sure about that but an excuse, but at the end of the day it wasn’t their wedding so $30 is a bit of slap and not speaking to me in person was even more slack. Hopefully they take this feedback and take wedding orders more seriously if they wish to deliver the service and realise most people only have one wedding in their lifetime and it was very upsetting for myself for something that was so simple from the beginning...
