    I have had over 6 months of problems with this bank. I am POA for a friend who is now of unsound mind and can’t access his account. Westpac has now blocked his account and stopped payment on his monthly payment to the Aged Care Facility. The treatment I received from Westpac I spent a month in hospital for the stress I encountered from the staff.

    This bank reflects a poor attitude which it seems ascend to the highest levels of the organisation. They wouldn't care for small business as banks are the only business entity guaranteed by the Australian constitution never to go broke (constitution guarantees that the Reserve Bank will ALWAYS bail them out). My elderly friend was forced to leave the aged facility where he is, which required another friend to take him to this branch. The reason? Westpac wouldn't process an online transaction of a little over $2000 (despite him have over 10 times this amount in his account. They DEMANDED that they see him in person even though he has never been accused or proved to be fraudulent. Finally permission was given by the nurse in charge of his aged care facility and my elderly friend attended (he has severely painful legs, is 71 and uses a walking stick to walk). After a teller requesting assistance from her bank manager, the best that could be offered was a cancellation of the online transaction and a re-issue of a PIN (god knows why. A PIN isn't required for an online transaction. In summary, this branch is shoddy and suspicious in its business dealings and employs poor management.

    Worst experience in my life!.they don't know what they are doing!!My Personal loan application got refused without any reason.i think they made something wrong with my application and they couldn't explain what went wrong with all necessary documents and other supporting documents.Dont go there please and save your credit rates.i have already got a loan declined without any mistake from my side.and they couldn't find the reason why my loan declined.

    Should avoid this branch. I tried to call them and always reached the voicemail saying that they would call back before the end of the day but they never did. Branch staff is very unhelpful. ATM is dodgy and made errors in disbursing cash but staff never solved the issue. You can verify by calling their number 87073211.
