    I was here 2 years ago and It still springs to mind now and again. When I went here, It was the first time on my travels that I felt at home.. I must have gone here 4 or 5 times in the evening to watch a movie. The owners movie choices were brilliant every time... and I’m very particular about what I like. I even found myself looking at their movie time table online for movie inspiration at home :)

    I'm addicted to this café! Lovely owner and staff! Every visit we had great conversations and I could practice my skills in lao a bit. The food is fresh and so delicious! The coconut shake is a must have. In the evening they show great movies in a relaxing ambience! Thank you for the lovely time!

    Lovely place, seems family run. Good menu although not loads of options for vegans. The best thing about this place is the cinema - every night at 7pm they screen a movie upstairs and you can join for free, they just ask you to order some food/ drinks. Bargain! Just FYI - it’s quite warm up there, and the seats are wooden chairs or cushions on the floor. Best to arrive a bit early to nab a comfy spot.

    I know this is something of an institution in LP and was excited to visit. However, I soon realise it isn't quite a bookstore where you can find a curated selection of titles relevant to the region - it's more of a book exchange spot. While I commend their efforts in improving English literacy in LP, it just wasn't what I was looking for. Also, the menu was quite boring... the ginger tea that I ordered was way too 'spicy' even after I mixed all the honey into it. What's good: they have movie nights every day, and they do show some of the latest movies. Their staff are also friendly and chatty - had a great conversation with a young lady.
