Beautiful temple in Luang Prabang. Houses the riverboats used for racing during the water festival.
Very old temple, Not many tourists. Peaceful
Unbelievable place !
The Wat Aham is a small temple of two ancient stupas. It has a history of Buddhism and spiritual worship. The temple was built in 1818 on the site of a much older temple dating back to 1527.
Wat Aham’s sim, or ordination hall, was built in 1818. The first shrine on this site was erected in the 14th century to honor the two guardian spirits of Luang Prabang.
