    It's a grèat spot to start your hike up the mt.Ratitovec and other tops around. The views are just fantastic.

    The church was rebuilt from the chapel in 1869. It soon became a popular pilgrimage site. In the altar is a painting of Mary Help of Christians by the folk painter John the Evangelist and a statue of the queen saint. On the left side of the apse is a picture of the holy family: Joseph is nurturing Jesus, and Mary is sitting in front. In the glass cabinets by the side are wax statues of Jesus and Mary with Jesus. Jesus in the side altar was donated by the kajžarica Urša from Prtovče when she escaped from the water in Ljubljana.

    The church is extremely beautiful. It also offers parking for hikers on Ratitovec.
