Great
Good prospects
An interesting thing is the cruise control for the ships that are in uphill or downhill. The Wahrschau shows on the light system each free ride or oncoming ships / associations. On boards everything is explained and so you learn interesting facts about the Wahrschau or the Rhine navigation. If you have informed yourself about the light signals, it is even more fun to follow the traffic on the Rhine. Unfortunately, the museum is currently closed.
Interesting about the shipping rules. The narrow Middle Rhine Valley is constantly monitored by a watcher so that the ships that meet can safely pass through the bottlenecks and invisible rocks in the Rhine. Light signals are used to display the ships and ship's associations that can not be seen behind the curves. Great thing.
Just walk by and read the boards that collect facts about inland navigation - and enjoy the view of the Rhine.
