Old school German cake shop serving up not just good, homemade cakes, but also proper German “Hausmannskost” for lunch and dinner. A compact, but varied menu with good quality homemade meals. German classics like Schnitzel or “Sauerbraten” are on offer, as are modern “Flammkuchen” variations. The portion sizes are large, the service is friendly and efficient.

Great restaurant! You could notice the Schnitzel was made of high quality meet. Fries were very good with a good type of crispyness. Topped it off with one piece of their giant cheesecakes :) . Friend om mine couldn't finish his 4scoop icecream so helped him out. The chocolate icecream is awesome, pieces of chocolate included!! Only minuspoint is that they are carefull with the mayonaise and ketchup, so i had to re-order everytime. Champagne problems ;) Keep up the good work!

We would have liked to have been guests, too, standing unnoticed in the heat for ten minutes after a strenuous hike. When we sank exhausted on two vacant chairs, the waitress immediately huddled us loudly and audibly for all other guests. There were probably several tables free, but she hadn't found time to disinfect them. We have a different idea of well-cared for hospitality - politeness is one of them.
