Mrs. Casper is a wonderful piano teacher for children and for adults. Her love and appreciation for music is obvious, contagious and is reflected in her passion to teach. Having been teaching for more than 30 years, and with a wealth of music pieces to choose from, she individualizes her approach and tailors her lesson to suit the need of each student. Mrs. Casper has the patience of a saint and will go the extra mile to make sure her student picks up the right piano playing habits early in the process, whether it is hand/finger positioning, note reading, wrist movement, and many more. She is kind but firm; patient but has high expectations! I cannot believe how far my 10-year-old daughter has come in playing piano in just about a year of lessons, having never played before. I sit and listen to the lessons and I just want to be the piano student, myself. In fact, Mrs. Casper takes the time to explain and show me what my daughter is learning and practicing during the week, and how I can help and guide my child, as she practices at home. Linda has done an incredible job working with my son for over 5 years and I have loved working with her. She is very patient but has high expectations for her students. My son has grown more confident, and has learned that practice improves his playing. She provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate their increasing skills by providing a recital each year and although at first he was hesitant he has become more confident and he enjoys the experience. This skill has made him more comfortable at school and church with presenting in front of others. We gladly an hour to an from our home to attend lessons with Linda. She is the BEST !!
