These guys are the best except for a few bad apples. Don't get caught - they put you in the slammer. No fun! If you get two of them they tag team you; good guy, bad guy. Avoid the bad guy. Make friends with the good guy. That's the way it works. Don't confess to anything you haven't been accused of. Tell the truth - even if it hurts, They don't like it if you lie. They are adept at spotting lies. Come clean but don't implicate anyone else!

Unprofessional. Don't take their job seriously enough. You can always see all of the squad cars hanging out or parked somewhere. They never actually pull anyone over or stop to talk to unsafe drivers. The police in this department speed and blow stop signs on Elm just as often as the civilians do. Plenty of moms from Imperial Beach Charter have complained about the 4 way stop on Imperial Beach and still no one has done anything about it. It seems this department only wants to wait until a child dies to actually do something about it. I have tried to fight for safer conditions, but it seems all of the people who CAN make a change for the better, just don't seem to care. My child almost died. Please don't wait until someone actually does get killed to do something.

Receptionist is very nice lady. She is calm and very polite to everyone, and some people are very irate. Thank you for helping me last Friday afternoon. Lynne Baker

I only know I tried to send a question. I tried to post a link with details of crime done - and I tried to send a photo and I was prevented. Then my electricity and WIFI shut off . It seems like retaliation. - thank you if you fixed it

One of the laziest police departments I've dealt with. You would think these officers would be spring loaded to help local citizens. I visited the office Friday after 5 pm and approached several officers who were sitting in their vehicles in the parking lot. I asked if one of them would take a look at my front windows and sign off a fix it ticket I had received while out in El Centro. Literally would have taken all of 10sec to do. Instead the officer told me they were busy (about to go on a call), that I needed to come back during working hours (8-5), and that I shouldn't wait till the last second. I explained I was in the military- got the ticket while out in the desert during training, and scheduled the appointment to have the windows fixed as soon as I returned. Officer closed by saying I should try a different station. My house is literally 200 yds away. Protect and SERVE? I appreciate what you all do- but sometimes taking a minute out of your schedule to help address the concerns of one of your local residents goes a long way. Pretty disappointed.
