Really good sushi, but bit expensive for Modesto.
Sorry no pics. I was just enjoying the company of my wife too much to think of it. The food was very good. Perfect as expected. Our waitress was nice and attentive to us. I tipped her well since she deserved it. We will make a monthly or bi-monthly visit.
I ordered about 6 sushi rolls for about $65. It was so convenient to order them over the phone and pick them up. The rolls I enjoyed the most were the Texas, Teriyaki, Shrimp Tempera, and Spider rolls. They all had tasty sauces and tasted delicious!! I highly recommend these rolls. The Rain roll did not taste good because of the raw tuna, which had a mushy texture and odd taste. I also ordered the Philly roll. It's very thin. It's a nice snack. Overall, I loved most of the sushi rolls I ordered. 😋 I'd definitely ordered here again! If you're looking for a good sushi restaurant with reasonable prices, then this place is for you!
As someone who considers them self a foodie, Osaka Sushi is by far the most authentic and tasty of all the sushi restaurants in Modesto. I fell out of love with my other sushi spots but thank goodness for Osaka! Their fish is fresh, the atmosphere is lovely, and the service is unmatched. I enjoyed my meal from start to finish and left satisfied. All of their hard work to create a unique dining experience really paid off. It’s the little details such as the authentic Japanese dinner ware and decor that make this place stand out. Thanks Osaka!
Don't be deceived by the outside. Go in, it was absolutely great. Came in from the heat to a very cool environment and the smell was delicious. Our servers were very nice and the food was way better than expected. Will go there again.
