    What a wonderful experience my daughter and I had at Beard Papa's! A few weeks ago I ordered 2 dozen of their yummy Original cream puffs for a birthday celebration for my friend at work. I phoned in the order in the early afternoon. The young man who answered the phone and took my order was very nice and very professional! After work, my daughter and I went there to pick up the cream puffs. They were ready to go! However, the nice young man explained to us that their debit/credit card machine wasn't working and could we pay in cash? He was very apologetic about it! My daughter happened to have cash because she works at a restaurant and had tip money in her purse, so she paid! We also ordered a few treats for ourselves besides the order we had picked up. He apologized again for only being able to cash at the moment. It was fine and it wasn't a big deal at all for us (my daughter!) to pay cash! Well, when we arrived home, we were pleasantly surprised to see that he gave us a few extra treats for free! That was very kind of him! We truly appreciated his kind gesture! Such amazing service! We will definitely go back to this location soon to hopefully thank him in person! Also, my co-workers and students (I'm a special education teacher) loved the cream puffs! I especially enjoyed the green tea fondant! So yummy! Thank you again to this kind young man for such a sweet experience!

    We've been ordering from Beard Papa's from DoorDash throughout the pandemic and have enjoyed the original, chocolate eclair, and Paris Brest (my personal fave, especially that coffee filling!!). Today we visited the physical location and the customer service was outstanding.

    I have loved Beard Papas since I discovered the one in downtown SF over 10 years ago. The orders take some time to fill and they often run-out of flavors since they prepare fresh batches for the day. I usually stick to chocolate or vanilla and opt for the ones dipped in chocolate for added sweetness. They are delicious and so satisfying.
