Aguilar Building Company, Lizandro, was recommend to us by our electrician for the building of a new staircase. Met with a handful of contractors and got bids and decided on Aguilar Building Company. These people are wonderful: Timely, very neat, precise with the details, very patient and knowledgeable in answering questions, and great quality craftsmanship. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for good people who provide high-quality work at a fair price. Great experience.

We worked with Aguilar Building Company for a year to do a lot of work on our house including, designing and remodeling both our kitchen and master bath, installing new wood floors, replacing all windows, earthquake bolting and shear walling, termite repair, landscaping our backyard (including, pavers, decking, fencing, drainage, irrigation and lighting) and electrical upgrading (new panel, sockets and interior lighting) and painting the interior and exterior of our house. The team showed up on time everyday and was consistently courteous and trust worthy. A total pleasure to work with, I do not have one complaint.

My husband and I were both extremely satisfied with the work Aguilar Building provided us. Lisandra is an upstanding person, hardworking, dedicated, and very detailed oriented. We trusted him and his crew implicitly and would hire them again in a minute if we had another construction need. In fact, I referred him to my sister who is currently using him on a project and equally elated. You can't go wrong with Lisandra!

Aguilar Building Company is a family run business. They are always there to help you whether the job is large or small. Their attention to detail is excellent. When Lisandro says he will be there at a certain time he is there... as is his crew.

Lisandro came to my house for initial consultation and shortly after that provided me a quote. After receiving the quote, I spoke to him and finalized the dates and ordered the tiles for kitchen backsplash installation. In his scheduled payments he requested 60% payment when he starts the job and rest when he completes the job. I was not comfortable with paying 60% upfront. I tried to negotiate with Lisandro to split it into multiple payments. Two days later I received an email saying that since I did not sign the contract and agree to his payments schedule he has taken up another project. He also mentioned that my house is very far for him to do the job. I wonder why he did not realize that at the beginning. Lisandro is extremely unprofessional. I would have been very happy if he had not taken this project and stated “place is very far for him” on the first day he came. He is a licensed contractor and he must know that it is illegal to take more than 10% of the contract amount or $1000 which ever is the lowest.
