To see Christmas lights and decorations, Mission Inn is the place to be. Every year the Inn has the most elaborate Christmas decorations in town. Many people like myself drive a long distance to come to enjoy the decorations here at the Inn. This year is no exception despite the pandemic. The Inn has put up one of the beat light shows. However, you can only enjoy these decorations outside of the hotel. Next to the hotel, there is this long court yard walking corridor that is decorated with more colorful lights along with a spectacular lighted Christmas tree. It's not easy to keep up with the cheerful Christmas spirit amidst the horrendous year of ravaged by the virus. Getting here is easy. Just drive on freeway 10 East and exit on mission Inn road. Parkings is on the street next to Mission Inn.
It's not what it normally is, due to obvious reasons. Some restaurants and shops are open...but not all. It's always good to support small local businesses though. All in all, a visit wouldn't hurt
Very nice area to stroll around for a while and visit little shops.
Christmas time is beautiful here and anytime of the year you want to visit hotel stay also is amazing
My grandma asked me to drive her to the Mission Inn last Christmas, but I didn’t make the time to do it. Now, even though it is NOT the same (bc of covid), she asked me to take her again this year. I couldn’t say no. There were no vendors, no restaurants open, no live musicians or ice skaters, but there were lights - and that’s what she was happy to see :)
