Sugarloaf farms campsite was a very lovely site! The owner/ family living at the main house was always very nice and even told us where a local watering hole was at for swimming. The reason I did not give a full 5 stars is because we were unaware of a rooster being on the site (we were aware of chickens though) and he would keep waking my campsite up in the morning. And a second reason is more of a personal problem we have with the caged dogs that are on the property; there was a time one of our campers noticed that a water bowl was empty plus all of the dogs being in small cages outsite without much roaming time from what we've seen.
Our family recently spent 3 WONDERFUL days at SUGARLOAF MORINGA FARM. The host Kala was amazingly warm, friendly & accommodating! We we're more than comfortable at our campsite! Kala shared the farm's delicious fresh eggs & vegetables with us...omgoodness, the artichokes were my favorite! We explored this beautiful area and spent a whole day at Ballard's Bar & Emerald Cove Marina, absolutely beautiful experience! The water & scenery was BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you for a beautiful experience Kala & SUGARLOAF MORINGA FARM!! We shall return!!
Kala, the site owner, is super friendly, offering fresh vegetables and tons of firewoods. The site is cozy, as it is relatively new for camping, a bit of grading work is needed. There was no other party so we didn't have much issue, but there's quite few bathroom and it could be difficult if there are many families at the same time. The site is pretty close to the Lake Collins, it's a good idea to have swimsuits with you! Overall, pretty much satisfied. Thank you Kala!
