Visited the museum today, had to walk through the rain to get there ..... It was a great experience, learned a lot about the history of this beautiful island. The staff where fantastic, there is a real passion and pride... this was totally infectious and came through in there knowledge and attitude. I highly recommend visiting and encourage you to ask many questions and believe that you will love the experience!

absolutely superb mini-museum setup right in the heart of Luganville, which conveys their great far-reaching ideas for this institution in the next few years- love the dedicated staff involved in this great endeavour which will really put Vanuatu so much on the map !

Great place as a first step off in a visit to Luganville on Espiritu Santo if you came here to discover the rich history of the place and how it only came to be after the Allies but this massive base here in WWII. The project office has some great artifacts as well as extremely well done info panels about the base and some of it's famous soldiers and pilots during the time. Well worth spending a half hour at the start of your vacation here to give you a feel for how the town and indeed the island got on the global map.
