I recommend to choose Pacific Dive across the road. I called two months in advance and was told I don't need to book. When I arrived I was told they were full. I wasn't able to dive this trip as I had a flight the next day and went here specifically to dive.
Make sure you book in advance. We were told by Tony that a booking wasn’t needed over the phone months ago. We came to Santo for three days just for this dive and landed on a weekend. We were told that it was booked out when we got there. We then only managed to get one dive in and wasn’t able to do a second dive because of our flight the next day due to safety. Though the dive guys were great (we had an awesome guy called David!) we learnt a lot and it was really interesting.
Everything was great with them. The dive guide was fantastic. I highly recommend this outfit.
The only safe dive operation you should consider for the SS President Coolidge. These guys know every nook and cranny of this massive ship having dived it tens of thousands of times over the decades. Our dive guide Molly was an absolute pleasure and had lots of amazing stories to tell. Allan was also an excellent host. There is a reason his operation is still here after all this time.
Our group of 3 were very well looked after by Allan & his team. Rental gear was in fantastic condition. Our dive master did a great job guiding us through the hull. Highly recommended these guys for diving in Santo
