What a hidden gem. Was met at the door seated and talked through the menu. We ordered Seafood Medley and Steak trawler. The meals were cooked to perfection steak was the best I had on a long time. Sticky date for dessert. Delicious. Staff were amazing. We will definitely be returning.

Plenty of sensational seafood options, but other fantastc dishes on offer as well. From the tasty prawn canapes (complimentary) on arrival through to the delightful dessert, every bite was a celebration and a joy, and for such a great restaurant the prices were very reasonable. Can't wait for our next visit so we can sample more of the menu options.

We had lunch last week and as always were so impressed with the wonderful seafood platter, it really is so fresh and delicious. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my seafood. Can’t recommend highly enough. CaptIns Quarters you are indeed the very best, beats Wollongong hands down!!!!

Well, tucked away in The Picton Valley Motel, is the Captain’s Quarters - and what a find it is. I recommend you look at their website to check out the meals. This is very close to fine dining - for which you pay a fair, but not unreasonable prices For the $174 we spent for two people - including three glasses of Tempus Two Shiraz, two Johnny Walker Blacks, garlic bread, two entrees and two hearty meals, all absolutely beautiful, then it’s money well spent. Must tries are the Pork Belly and Steak Diane as two of your mains. The staff are hugely attentive, the atmosphere is excellent. I had my back parked up against the fire - luxury! Hearty meals, I think well priced, and worth a visit.

Whilst making the booking, I informed that the dinner was a belated Valentine’s Day date. The hostess Jo had organised chocolate hearts on the table and complimentary mimosas which she informed was something provided on Valentine’s day itself. The food was large portioned and great value for money- something that is hard to come by in Sydney. The hospitality and cocktails were amazing. A warm interior design with fairy lights outside. Highly recommend for seafood.
