A relaxing drive to Picton. Just outside is the lovely Common Ground Bakery & Cafe. A nostalgic, comfortable & friendly setting. The food is amazing. We tried the pies, the beef stroganoff pie is super delicious. The pumpkin soup & side bread were yummy. We will definitely come again to delight our taste buds.
I just want to say thank you to the staff at Common Ground and especially the two ladies who went out of their way yesterday to deliver some goodies frantically organised by my wonderful friend to Razorback - when all the other places in Narellan, Camden and Picton let her down. I've always been a fan of this place and its lovely healthy food and excellent service, but it took my breath away to recieve the delicious goodies on my special day yesterday. Always a must pit stop en route from Sydney to Canberra! Beautifully decorated like it's sister cafe in Katoomba, with equally delicious food! Love the sandwiches - Reuben and Deli Rose are the mainstays. They've also added a new twist to the apple cider, adding cream on top because who doesn't love cream on top of anything?? It tastes like liquid apple pie and hits the spot on a cold day. Genius!
Beautiful peaceful place for a tea and coffee or a light meal or snack not far of the main road. Plenty of great parking and nicely presented inside and out. Happy and attentive hosts and staff.
Venue: charming old historic 19th centuary building. Warm and cosey inside, with Spacious outdoor dining area. Peaceful surrounds when not too busy. Food: is lovely and tasty, Reasonably priced, Adequate portions. Service: Friendly.
