It was a great tour with a very funny guide, we laughed the whole time. Very much information. The cave is not that big but very beautiful with great colours. An hour well spent.
I’ve been to Iceland many times and this is the most unique and exciting experience I’ve ever had there! Great tour guides, amazing history, close to Reykjavík, a must see in Iceland!
One of the best tours I ever did was the Lava Falls Adventure Tour (the long tour). It was a great opportunity to explore the cave and their guide was very professional and provided us with lots of information about the cave and the volcanic system of Iceland. We didn't have to hurry, but still got to explore the whole cave system. It was only us and the guide on the tour, so it couldn't have been any better. Thanks a lot for this amazing experience! If you have decent physical skills you should definitely go for the adventure tour, but prepare to get sweaty, as it is quite challenging in some parts. Don't go there if you have claustrophobia.. It is really dark (like no light except the headlamp!) and some parts are really narrow, so you have to crawl. Best to visit a natural hot pot or a swimming pool afterwards! :)
Funny and very helpful guide. Lava tubes aren't as interesting as other caves I've been in, so it was very helpful to have a guide point out the things that were cool.
