    The land owner has closed this permanently. There's another business about 4km up the road that offers tours in a separate location.

    difficult to reach due to gravel road. from geological point of view is amazing. not so fotogenic for the photo lovers. visit only if you have many days to spend in Iceland.

    Can be difficult to get to if the road is closed off for weather... there’s a ladder to climb down into the cave but once you’re down there, if you want to explore more than a few meters in either direction you will definitely need a headlamp or good flashlight! It’s a cave and it’s very dark.
