I love the concept of turf roofed houses, but seeing these showed us how it would be possible to compromise between modern living and older construction principles. The fisherman brought it all to life. Loved it!

Fantastic! A docent, geared up like a local fisherman and standing near a fishing boat, provides great history and information. The buildings themselves are very charming, and reflect what life would have been like in the past. Situated on a beautiful spot of land, overlooking the sea.

This was a really charming and interesting place. An old fashioned wooden building, with three floors and laid out with so many authentic items of an ancient nature. It was a joy to look at and read a bit of history. Very much helped by additional explanations from our Tour Guide

Hard to find but worth trying. This tiny place gives an immersive experience of fishermens lifestyle a century ago. Just watching the guide in his authentic outfit explain things is worth the ticket price. Kids were allowed to touch, try and test everything in this historic place, even a variety of whale bones. Loved it.

This was very interesting. The items in the museum were in very good condition.
