    One of the best campgrounds we have come across. Located on the back side of the community pool. Follow the camping signs (along the left hand side of the community center) PRICE: 3100 did campers (see photo) but is covered by camping card AMENITIES: large heated indoor area with: -Two sets of washers and dryers. -Electric stove top -4 WCs with sinks -Large indoor dining area CAMPING: Large field with enough space for 20-30 campers with room to spare

    See Lou Fegans' write-up who reviewed just before us. It is accurate and has pictures. Nice post, Lou. We enjoyed our stay here as well. I just wanted to reiterate that they do accept camp-card. Beautiful hills and views surround area. Two sets of washing machines/dryers appeared new and worked well (extra 1400 isk). Nice to have use of shower in pool complex (extra 400 isk). Bathrooms could be checked on/cleaned more often. Stayed here twice in July, before and after visiting Hornstrandir and some paper towel dispensers were empty and WC stalls dirty, but usable. Also, door schedule says open 6:15am, but each time they opened ~30min later.

    Very nice campsite with a clean toilet and kitchen with lounge. 25% discount in the really nice swimming pool. You can also take a shower there.

    Wrong information at the reception (in the swimming pool) about power connections. There weren't any more free. Dirty toilets and showers. Dirty laundry at the dining table in the kitchen! Never again!
