    Excessive fees, bad customer care and they even ask you to open a fixed term deposit as a precondition to open an account. Not recommended!!

    Worst bank ever. Discriminatory and unlawful practices. MFSA should shut them down. Open a Revolut or Medirect account. BNF is useless and time consuming. Avoid at all costs.

    Really bad experience. I tried to open a Basic Payment Account and they would not get my application because the law obligates them to open an account within 10 days. This is illegal, but the Branch Director would insist that it is not if I can't prove I handed it to them.

    My friend had an account with them but with no 0EUR balance. The account is opened but BNF employees would tell him that he is no longer a client and thus he can't encash a cheque of the central bank. Avoid!! Ps. Maltapost encash cheques of the central bank for a couple of euros and without queueing for 1h.

    There is no half star, unfortunately! I got a cheque for 100 euro and they wont accept their own cheque :D They sent me to another branch to withdraw a BNF cheque! :D This bank is a Joke. AVOID!
