Very bad banking very long queues
BOV is not a real bank. Impossible to open an account even for European citizens, they will ask you 100500 documents ranging from your birth certificate to the blood group of your grand grandma. You can't also deposit any funds or exchange cash in here. On top of that - enormous lines, and the staff doesn't have any clue what to do. Really glad we have Revolut now, hopefully this would be a motivation for this pseudo-bank to change their policies.
I went to the BOV branch in San Gwann at 14:45 on a Friday afternoon. It was closed and the sign on the wall confirmed that they shut at 13:30 Monday-Friday. Please update the Google information to reflect this?
Such a shame always waiting 1 hour at least , 9 window places are inside and it's always only 1 working , till the rest of staff walk around doing nothing
I've been waiting for a month to open a checking account. My company has already sent the requested documents but they haven't contacted me yet. We will see how it ends. Willing to edit the review when all is done.
